The desire to create something of one's own...
More than 60 years ago, Darío and Rosa
started their commercial path without premises and without structure,
but with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
From the beginning, they knew they wanted to create something of their own.
So much so, that their honeymoon
was also their first shopping trip.
That union between love and work
was the true origin of La Rosa Blanca.
At first, they offered hats knitted by Darío and sewn by Rosa, dishcloths, and small items that he sold in the countryside and surrounding areas. He arrived on foot or by train, traveling through the local towns. Later, he sold his guitar
—a very precious object—to buy a bicycle.
Because the dream began pedaling before it took off. So, with a bicycle instead of a shop window: La Rosa Blanca was born on two wheels.
Without respite, and always mobilized to grow and improve, multiple sectors passed through La Rosa Blanca.
Everything that could be undertaken with commitment and vision, it was marketed. Fabrics, clothing, sports shoes, leather boots, sugar, dairy products...
Diversification was part of the path.
Over time, that entrepreneurial spirit
it was transformed into an espadrille factory,
which has been in uninterrupted production for over 30 years.
Currently, the project remains in the hands of the family.
